End of January update

Well we've made it another full month with Rachel at home. She continues to grow and develop by the day. We're not sure how much she weighs as we haven't been to the Dr's office in a few weeks. She did go to the retina specialist who was very pleased with her eye development and referred us back to the regular preemie eye doctor from now on. We'll go to the respiratory Dr on Feb 4th where hopefully they will scale back her oxygen to only at night or totally take her off...that would be a dream come true!!

Jenny goes back to work on Feb 8th so this is her last week of home care. She's growing up fast but is still as cute as ever! Enjoy the pictures

January 2010

Well Rachel has been home for 2 months now and is over 9 pounds! She has had a pretty busy year so far. Still on O2, our next appt is Feb 4th, so we will hopefully be done after that....fingers are crossed. Eyes are better. Left eye is fully developed and the right is getting there. She is just taking her sweet time....she has her own idea of when it will happen (which has been her MO since July 28th!)

We had our first road trip already as well. We went to Buffalo for a funeral and met many of the people that were prayer for Rachel and for the family. She met her Great Aunt Kate, Great Uncle Ron and cousin RJ and also Great Aunt Ann, Great Uncle Fran and cousin Katie. She had lots of fun, but is now a little messed up on her schedule.

Here are some pictures of our trip and also from today. The Brobeil Marina was opened by Rob's grandpa.....Uncle Fran runs it. We would have had a picture with Rob and Rachel, but it was too cold to have her out to get the picture. Maybe next trip!

Enjoy
